Reminiscence

Reminiscence captures the complexities of gender in urban middle class Delhi. It is a compilation of first person narratives about masculinity and femininity and the impact of these constructs on individual lives. The stories were collected by the artists and edited into minute long mini narratives. These narratives were pieced together and curated to convey specific yet subtle thematic threads. The work illustrates the way in which the abstractions related to gender are reified and experienced.
