The video installation is a film comprised of scenes that were censored out of publicly viewed cinema in Italy during the 1950s and 1960s. It includes scenes that were censored out of films such as Pier Pasolini’s Love Meetings Guido Malatesta’s La Notte Brava, Michelangelo Anotoni’s Zabrinski Point and Ingmar Bergmans Brink of Life.
The installation includes take-away documents of the official deliberations and justifications authorizing the removal of the scenes from the films.
