Visas Application: emotional tax and privileged passports. 2019
An advocacy piece that highlights the inequities in the movement around the world by contrasting the visa requirements for a Ugandan national visiting the UK with a UK national visiting Uganda. The piece highlights how some passports carry certain privileges as well as the more hidden emotional tax non-privileged passport-holders pay by wanting to explore the world and needing to prove they are worthy of
travel in a country that is not their own.
